Become a Peer Support Volunteer.

What is Peer Support?

Peer Support happens when we use our own experiences to support others. When people have the opportunity to connect with someone with shared lived experience it can be life-altering. Peer support creates an environment of trust, empathy, and mutuality that can build confidence, reduce stigmas, and inspire hope.

We are looking for volunteers who can use their own experience in the following areas:

  • Disability/Mental Health
  • Cancer
  • Unemployment
  • Addiction
  • Deafness and hearing loss
  • Brain injury
  • A loved one in hospice
