Peace Country Hospice Society believes that no one should be without support in a time of need such as: facing the news that you or a loved one is terminally ill.
Our mission is to support families working through terminal diagnosis, hospice, and grieving processes.
We’re currently looking for Peer Support Volunteers who have experience dealing with any of the following areas:
- Terminal illness diagnosis of family member or friend
- The health care system that pertains to hospice
Peer Support volunteers will provide one-on-one mentorship with individuals who are faced with the challenges of end-of-life diagnosis. Peer training is provided.
If you are interested in using your life experience to benefit others, please reach out to our Peer Support Coordinator at peacecountryhospice2022@gmail.com
